Have you had this happen to you? You click on your “profile” page on Facebook and you get this error:
Facebook: Profile Page Error - The Page you requested was not found
If so, you’re not alone. It doesn’t appear that Facebook is mad at you. Just a technical glitch.
Question: I am seeing a “Page Not Found” error message when I try to view a friend’s profile or my own profile.
Facebook’s Answer:
When attempting to view certain profiles, some people are seeing an error that says: “The page you requested was not found. You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the address. Some web addresses are case sensitive.” If you would like to submit a report about this issue, please click here.
Note: I filled out the form on Facebook’s site, along with the screenshot (above). Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Update: 7-5-2011: The issue seems to be fixed, and my profile page is now working!
